Yours & Owls Sells Out in 24 Hours.

Folk-pop singer, Gordi released her album ‘Our Two Skins’ over the weekend with a live-streamed performance at the Sydney Opera House accompanied by a four-piece band, plus they wowed the airwaves on Triple J’s Like A Version to celebrate the album launch. The Sydney Opera House’s amazing curation for their digital season continues with a flashback to a standout performance from Empire of the Sun, recorded back in 2013 for Vivid LIVE, supported by yours truly. Rhyan Clapham, aka DOBBY, is a Filipino and Indigenous Australian rapper, drummer and speaker with family from Brewarrina on Ngemba land. On-Demand from the Joan Sutherland Theatre, DOBBY combines cultural stories and experiences through his impressive rhyming ability and keyboard and drum skill for this high octane performance. In festival news, Yours & Owls 2021 tickets went on sale on Saturday and sold out within 24 hours, evidence of just how keen we all are to get back to a pumping live music scene during these testing times. The 2021 roster features a stacked Australian and New Zealand line-up with heavy hitters Tones & I, BENEE, DMA’s, Lime Cordiale and Winston Surfshirt headlining. The mosh pit might look a little different from festivals of the past but we’re just excited for the return of festival line ups!
